The entire process starts as you first call a broker and provide some basic information about yourself, what you need the money for, how much you need, what kind of property you are looking to buy, etc. These are the usual questions that you will need to answer in order to create a profile and allow the mortgage broker to have something to start working on. Then, you would be required to complete an application form which would essentially be authorizing the broker to secure a mortgage for you.

It is necessary for the broker to discuss with you the numerous mortgage options you have and the financial goals that may or may not be important to you. Once you have given your preferences, this information will help the broker secure the mortgage that best fits your needs and goals.

Included within the application that you fill out is a consent form authorizing the mortgage broker to pull a credit bureau report. Lastly, based on the information you provided on the application, along with what's listed on the credit bureau and the supporting documentation that you will be required to provide, the broker will successfully secure the best the mortgage for you through the lender network they work with.
